name: Sacha Giurietto

role(s): Various roles in the production department and all the joy, fear and sleeplessness that it entails.

starkraving productions: Emma and the Barista (Production Assistant); Love’s Labour (Production Manager); God Told Me To (Production Manager); Heal Me (Production Manager); I’ll Forget You (Production Assistant); arietta (Co-Producer)

favourite starkraving moment: Too many to choose from... stirring 400 litres of fake blood, traversing the state in a van location-scouting, watching the sunrise on the beach holding a brand new IF award, discussing endless ideas at the speed of light, and always, the silence during the first screening of each new film.

favourite starkraving moment:
The first email I received from a Natasha Pincus enquiring as to my interest in being involved in a production called “Emma and the Barista”. The written words were very enticing (though were surely typed at lightning speed) and I was lured into a world of filmmaking enthusiasm I had not known for many years. After meeting with Natasha, in which I struggled to interpret the 4000 syllable per minute description of her film over the hubbub of The Vineyard, I decided anyone who was so completely devoted and dedicated to her craft could only become a huge asset to the film world, and would most likely become very famous…so I immediately decided that I wanted to be a part of the starkraving machine.
